Virtual reality combined training system- Vaginal Examination

One of the system's key highlights is its built-in mechanism for automatic fetal position switching, which can change the fetal position in real-time based on system settings, eliminating the need for manual adjustments and significantly improving training efficiency. Operators can perform vaginal examinations on the manikin using their hands to assess critical indicators such as cervical dilation, diagonal conjugate, intertuberous diameter, cranial sutures, fontanelles, fetal presentation, and amniotic sac. The manikin is equipped with a simulated fetus that can perform actions like engagement, descent, and internal rotation within the maternal body, mimicking the actual labor process. The simulated vagina, cervix, and amniotic sac can adjust their states automatically, such as cervical dilation and amniotic sac rupture, offering a comprehensive training experience. All operational data is synchronized in real-time with a 3D virtual simulation software, achieving a seamless integration of virtual and physical training for a visualized learning effect.
To further enhance the flexibility and practicality of the training, the system provides multiple viewing angles, including 360° free rotation, cross-sectional, and X-ray modes, allowing operators to easily adjust perspectives via mouse control for a more comprehensive view. Instructors can set parameters such as uterine contractions, fetal position, cervical dilation, and the relationship between fetal presenting part and ischial spines, simulating various clinical scenarios. In assessment mode, the system automatically scores based on predefined standards and generates detailed score sheets, including item numbers, questions, selections, answers, scores, user names, and total scores, making it easy for instructors to review and evaluate learner performance. Through these comprehensive features, the system not only helps learners master the core skills of vaginal examination but also enhances their ability to handle complex clinical situations.
